Interview

Naturalvi : Hello Pascal. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about your background ?

Pascal : Hello, I’m Pascal Haberkorn, Chief Accountant and Financial Officer of the Naturunion group, which notably includes Naturalvi. I joined the group right after finishing my studies in 1998, and I’ve grown within the company ever since.

N : How long have you been working at Naturalvi, and what motivated you to choose this company ?

P : I’ve been part of the group for over 25 years. This allowed me to witness its creation and be involved from the very beginning. I’ve contributed to many key stages of its development. Thanks to this experience, I’ve been able to support its growth and actively participate in its evolution.

When I joined the group in 1998, it was to seize a great opportunity: a Chief Accountant position, despite having no prior experience in a similar role, as I had just graduated.

N :  What aspect of your work at Naturalvi are you most passionate about on a daily basis ?

P : My work at Naturalvi involves various interesting and challenging aspects every day. What I’m most passionate about, and what connects all my responsibilities, is the constant pursuit of performance, growth, and continuous learning, even after all these years of experience.

N : How do you think Naturalvi’s ecological commitment influences its company culture and the involvement of its employees ?

P : I believe we all feel concerned about the environmental challenges our society and planet have faced for decades. The repeated alerts only emphasize this sense of collective responsibility.

These issues have an impact on our employees and certainly strengthen their sense of responsibility. We are all working towards the same goal.

N : Is there a moment or an anecdote at Naturalvi that particularly inspired or touched you ?

P : About ten years ago, I had the opportunity to go with Anne to the Fruit Logistica trade show in Berlin. Upon arriving in the exhibition hall, I became aware of the journey we had taken and everything we had built together with all the employees at Naturalvi. Participating in this trade show also allowed me to realize the extent of the opportunities still available to us and all that remains to be accomplished.

N : What do you think distinguishes Naturalvi from other companies in the industry ?

P : In my opinion, Naturalvi stands out from other companies due to its focus on the well-being and satisfaction of our customers, as well as its family-sized structure, which provides personalized service.

N : What advice would you give to someone who wants to join the Naturalvi team ?

P : If someone wants to join us, I would advise them to be themselves and stay positive, as well as to demonstrate motivation and curiosity.

A big thank you once again to Pascal for taking the time to answer our questions! See you soon for the next episode of “Les Emballés.”
